School Mental Health Services (SMHS) at ESU #3 is currently a federally-funded SAMHSA program through Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare. It is the mission of School Mental Health Services to provide access to high-quality and affordable mental health services in the school setting for Cass and Washington county families. Our services are offered to students without regard to a family’s ability to pay or other protected status in its programs and activities. *As our organization and network of providers continue to grow, we will actively expand our insurance billing process by securing approved contracts with private insurance companies. Currently, for these providers, not all clinicians are in-network but we are in process of securing the appropriate approvals.
